Been a long time since we’ve posted anything, but that will change this weekend with a test & tune at Texas A&M.
In the meantime, I ran across this post on StanceWorks which was too good to not share.

On the upside, my weekend started and ended just like this.
But unfortunately this happened in between. Our extravagant testing plans ground to a halt not a minute into trying… Sometimes you win and sometimes you lose! If you’ll recall, we’d made a number of fairly major changes to the car in the hopes of finding more speed. One of the big changes and the #1 item on the testing docket was to see if the softer rear springs and different 3rd link spring made any difference on our axle chatter. (more…)
Been radio silent for a while, but not for lack of work! We’ve been doing some updates on the Camaro which have taken a little longer than anticipated. Unfortunately the number of events in our region haven’t been scheduled on good weekends either, but expect lots more in the summer timeframe!
Since last year focused on the front of the car, this year we’ve taken a look at the back of the car to see what we can do to reduce some of the knife-edge feel that it has. This means we’re trying softer springs and bigger bars in the hopes that we can get a little more weight transfer under acceleration for better grip and still maintain the roll stiffness we’re looking for.
That means out comes the old rear blade style rear bar and in goes something new. The old bar was really cool with a fancy blade adjustment, but with the desired bar rate change, we had to swap to something new. The old bar is for sale now in our new Garage Sale section of the site! (more…)
For those that missed it, you need to get it on your calenders next year, because the Sunbelt (or Texas) Championship Tour is one you do not want to miss! Hitting the goal of 200 entries just days the event was shaping up to be a good one with 18 entries in CP and a great course designed by Vivek Goel!
My game was a little off due to a lengthy work week, I basically took no pictures all weekend, but we did at least get video. Luckily, our friend Sherman Chang came to the rescue and snapped a ton of great shots throughout the weekend, some of which I’ll be sharing below. If it’s a picture, all credit goes to Sherman!
CP was the 2nd largest field at the event! Some of the long haulers included Art and Amo in from Kansas and Robert, Tracy, and Alyssa Lewis all drove in from Georgia along with Chris Raglin which was awesome to see! Mark Madarash, of ESP fame decided he wanted to come crash the party and ran with CP for the event. (more…)
A long weekend, but worth it for sure! The first Championship Tour in the 2014 Season was held by the Dixie Region as South Georgia Motorsports Park. A bit of a haul for us (~900 miles!) but an event we didn’t want to miss since we had heard from so many people that this was a great event, not to mention Robert & Tracy Lewis have supported the Texas Tour for several years so it was our turn to make the trip!
South Georgia Motorsports Park is located in Cecil, GA and is really a great facility. 1/8th mile drag strip, asphalt circle track, and a paddock big enough to host an autocross. Not to mention, they’re hooked up with Lucas Oil so that was awesome for us! Click through to read more! (more…)
This story over on StanceWorks was simply too good not to share. One of my favorite cars of all time, the Ford GT-40, looks just stunning in these photos. One of the shots from the article is below…
This isn’t an article of numbers or performance figures, just let the details sink in and enjoy the pictures!

Seat time, seat time, and more seat time is what we have been needing so we loaded up the Camaro and made the trip over to San Marcos to run with Spokes. Top priority was to test out some new tweaks on the car and just drive the thing!
We played a little more with the rear suspensions geometry and also swapped in another set of accelerator pump cams on the carburetor. Both changes seemed to really work well and with a couple of shock tweaks throughout the day we ended up in a really good spot.
Todd had a killer final run and PAXed on top of everyone, or as our buddy Troy says “won the whole autocross”! I coned away my best run and ended up pretty far down the charts.
The data unfortunately doesn’t lie. The big sweeper was the determining factor and Todd nailed it.
This weekend is another TAMSCC event, so look for more updates soon!
My Dad is in the process of building his own Coupe so I had to share!
Former CP competitor and National Champion Ron Ver Mulm has put together a really stunning Camaro for competing in E Mod. Shortened, narrowed and tons of other work just look fantastic. Can’t wait to see the car in action!
