The Future of Suspension…

I ran across a link this morning that while cool, makes me a little sad. Speedhunters made a visit to KW Suspension to look at their new iPhone connected shocks in an article titled “Future of Suspension”.

As someone who bridges the gap between hands on and the technology age it is exciting to see development like this, but from the standpoint of actually understanding what goes into car setup it is a little sad to see so much being taken over by computers. Before long there will probably be an app to give you the right settings…

Don’t get me wrong, advancement in technology and going faster I am all for, but I also have to appreciate and respect the guy who does his homework, gets his hands dirty, and learns the hard way!

    …then writes an app based on what he learned so I don’t have to! 😉
