Every once in a while I wanted to plug some companies that I’ve dealt with that really gave good service. Coleman Racing so far has exceeded all my expectations. Over the past month or so as I’ve transitioned from a 3D model to actually buying hard suspension pieces they have been very helpful in terms of providing drawings, dimensions, and generally putting up with my thousands of questions. Lary and Glenn in their Technical Sales office have been fantastic.
Not getting any discount or money from them, but wanted to give credit where credit is due!
In other news… this box showed up at work yesterday!
About time to get started working!
Ran across this on Speedhunters today:
Since I’m helping Mike Peters (of BubbaDrift and The Awesome Shop USA Fame) with the suspension on his own Drift Camaro this got my interest. (more…)
I posted a link to the short 3 minute version of this film a while back and they’ve finally released the whole thing.
For some reason embedding isn’t working, so just check the link here: http://www.reelhouse.org/mos/urbanoutlaw/
This is a really cool independent film with fantastic cinematography, some really cool Porsches, and one heck of an interesting guy named Magnus Walker. Not to mention that this is the type of house that I keep telling my wife I want. Oddly she doesn’t seem to agree!
Enjoy!

Steering precision and lightweight are not the first things that come to mind when you thing of 2nd Gen Camaro Steering. Between the drag links, the huge steering box, and overall complexity there’s some significant slop in the steering not to mention weight…
Surprisingly if you look online there don’t seem to be many options for a rack in a 2nd Gen. About the only one I’ve found is from TRZ and it’s a manual rack… not something you want with 13″ wide front tires! There has to be a better solution. (more…)
I had always wondered where the CP stickers and shirts came from, but thanks to Grayden Obenour I found out that CafePress is where the designs are up for sale!
So, just in case you wanted a T-shirt or bumper sticker… Head on over the to CPrepared Store
When you can’t sleep and your mouse wanders you can run across some good stuff on the internet.
No matter your stance on drifting it’s a pretty cool video. Hope the red Mustang doesn’t get sold as brand new to someone!
It’s the second season of Drive TV and they’re kicking it off in a good way. Any search for autocrossing 2nd Generation Camaros and you’ll run across Mary Pozzi’s Camaro.
While not my favorite of Drive’s channels, I did enjoy this segment. You can find lots more on the Pozzi Camaro at their website.

In other news, I’m about to pull the trigger on Camaro parts! It’ll be time to see if all that computer work made a difference or not…
With the “off” season in full swing Todd and I elected to take a break from running the Camaro this weekend. We had the choice of TAMSCC’s event or the HouSCCA’s event at RPR. Since I decided to help with the Rookie School on Saturday and the weather was looking to be COLD on Sunday we threw in the towel on running the Camaro and I decided I’d just hop in the Mustang for a little back-to-basics racing.
One nice thing about running stock class is showing up a little later! I left about a half hour to 45 minutes later than usual. It was still early on the road though! (more…)
There is no real “off” season in Texas. With the potential to race 12 months out of the year, twice a month it’s hard to slow down and work on the car.
Despite this, we’re decided it’s time to focus on some serious work on the Camaro for the 2013 Season. This means we’ll probably miss a few races in the near future, BUT next year will see some serious improvements in performance!
The competition was really tough in CP this year, seeing cars that were not only fully sorted out, but had some fantastic attention to detail. (more…)
Your random web browsing post of the week!
Too cool, had to share! I’ll take one of each… Oh and that watch? $8,600…
