Guess lifting the inside tire and zinging the engine caused a bigger problem than we thought. Turns out we really were on 7 cylinders at the Divisional as one of our lifter rollers decided to disintegrate…
Also found was a broken main cap and a chip out of the bottom of a cylinder, both byproducts of a high speed crankshaft encountering bits of lifter!
Needless to say it was a good thing we didn’t throw in a new lifter and head up to the Lincoln Tour!
