Vintage Magazines – Car & Driver’s Datsun 240Z Omega

Another gem from the old magazine archives that I know several friends will enjoy! This is the old Datsun 240Z Omega project that Car & Driver put together. I don’t know if there are more in the series or not, but here’s Part 1 and Part 2.

At the end of the article came across something else really amusing, a quick overview of the Texas 500 held at Texas World Speedway in College Station (home of Texas A&M). The oval on this track hasn’t seen NASCAR action in quite sometime, but still runs events to this day on the road course. The lack of safety gear is amazing considering today’s racing environment…
